Liz May
Finance and Operations Associate
Liz May joined 50+1 in the spring of 2022 as a finance and operations associate. A graduate of Iowa State University, Liz completed a triple major with Bachelor’s of Science Degrees in Political Science, Anthropology, and Biology.
Liz’s interest in politics stems from her upbringing in the Midwest, where as an intern on Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign she helped organize her college campus for the Iowa 2020 caucuses. Vowing to continue supporting strong Democratic women candidates, she then became an organizer in Northern Kentucky for Amy McGrath as she ran against Mitch McConnell for the U.S. Senate.
At 50+1 Strategies, Liz manages the day-to-day business operations of the firm and keeps the team running smoothly. Liz is excited to be a part of the continued growth and success of 50+1 Strategies as it champions progressive ideals to create impactful change across the country.
