Pourobee Saha
Campaign Associate
Pourobee Saha recently joined 50+1 Strategies as a campaign associate for the 2024 election cycle. A native Californian, she is passionate about giving back to her local communities through progressive politics, with a background in nonprofits and electoral campaigns.
Pourobee graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with double majors in political science and business. She first discovered her love of organizing while in college, advocating on behalf of undocumented students and other marginalized communities on campus. During her senior year, Pourobee authored a thesis titled “Women, Race, and Gender in Political Fundraising” exploring the structural barriers that female candidates face while campaigning — she then joined Representative Katie Porter’s Senate campaign as a Finance Associate after graduation. In her current role at 50+1, Pourobee supports a diverse portfolio of clients that include local and state level campaigns, as well as impactful advocacy and issue organizations.
Pourobee is currently based in her hometown of Los Angeles before heading to law school next year. In her spare time, you can find her reading novels on the beach, solving crosswords, or scouring Yelp for good food.
